Peaceful and comfort 4 star hotel with its 17 guest rooms is located in pedestrian zone of the Prague centre, in close neighbourhood of the Old Town Square and Wenceslas Square. The hotel itself is situated in 15th century traditional house, which history is as rich as the history of Prague.

Hotel „U Staré paní“ is widely sought-after not only because of its perfect location, but as well due to its genius loci, warm ambience and nonetheless due to services it provides to our guests.

The four-storey house hides the fame of the renowned restaurant opened both for hotel visitors and the public. The style of this restaurant creates pleasant atmosphere, which will make you feel comfortable while having delicious cup of coffee, fine tea, or say- enjoying your apple strudel. Managers´and cooks´strict eye watches the highest quality of czech and international cuisine. This is all happening in surroundings evoking idylic feelings typical for beginning of the 20th century.

In its basement, Hotel „U Staré paní“ plays host to one of the most popular jazz clubs in Prague- „Jazz Club U Staré Paní“. Anyone can visit live concerts, but only hotel guests are guaranteed to enter for free. Every night extraordinary musicians come to this club to entertain you in its cozy interiors.

You will always find friendly and willing personnel at the reception desk, where there is also the possibility of booking tourist sight-seeings in historic centre of Prague, National Theatre visits (approx. 15 min by walk from the hotel) a.o. There is a great deal of interesting places worth visiting in vicinity of the Hotel „U Staré paní“. Old Town Square - the oldest square in Prague built in 10th century with its dominant- The medieval Astronomical Clock (approx. 2 min. by walk from the hotel).

Welceslas Square- the centre of Prague full of shops, restaurants and clubs (entertainment centres). You can also visit National Museum, which is situated at the upper end of the square- close to the State Opera (approx. 5 min. by walk). There is Havelske Square (Havelské náměstí) in the neighbourhood of the hotel (1 min. by walk), where the famous market with various commodities like paintings, pieces of art but also fresh grocery is being held.

Taking a walk to Prague Castle, the dominant standing out above the Vltava river and the town of Prague, can be a pleasant time when you can get fascinated by Charles Bridge, panorama of the Old Town and other historical monuments like for instance Bethlehem Chapel- an important part of the Czech history.
