A unique government-protected landmark, our early-1980s architecture is clean and elegant – no chintz or lace curtains. Most of our rooms and public areas have been renovated during the past three years. Although Hotel Praha is located in a big city, our ample land and hilltop location provide an unusual and welcome amenity: total peace & quiet. Hotel Praha is proud to offer three types of accommodation: Ambience, Business, and Executive. Hotel also offer two extraordinarily large (370 m2) specialty suites: Imperator Suite and our Presidential Suite. These rooms are available on request.
The main difference between the three types mentioned above is their decor. Ambience rooms are decorated in shades of pink and red, Business rooms offer darker wood tones and fabrics in blue, whereas Executive rooms are characterized by light brown and golden colours. Another difference is the rooms' position within the hotel, as listed in the table below. All of Hotel Praha's rooms and suites have a private terrace, ranging in size from 10 m2 up to 25 m2. Many of our terraces alone are larger than the standard rooms in other hotels! Note that the terraces shrink slightly as one rises up through our five floors, i.e., larger terraces compensate for the less elevated view from first-floor or second-floor rooms.
Within the Czech Republic, Hotel Praha is famous for organizing and hosting successful events. Our facilities are suitable for weddings, galas, conferences, media events, seminars, and training sessions. We have hosted two NATO summit meetings, attended by hundreds of official delegates. Our staff includes event planners with many years of experience, and our kitchen can provide snacks or full meals for as many as 1500 guests. Furthermore, we offer secure on-site parking for up to 76 vehicles.
